I would definitely purchase this again

I was given a Large can of Dinty Moore beef stew to review. I have had this product merely actually haven't tried it in many many years. I recall the taste was pretty awesome considering it came from a tin can and because I ordinarily cook from scratch. At that place were big chunks of meat, spud's and carrots. The broth was thick and rich as it a gustatory modality homemade. Four of us enjoyed this can consisting of myself and 3 small grandchildren . The meat was then big I actually had to cut it upwards into smaller pieces. We all enjoyed information technology very much. This is a neat get to lunch as well as dinner if yous are in a rush and want something good for you and nutritious for your family. I will definitely have this in my pantry from now on.

Received full sized cans of Chicken Dumplings and Beefiness Stew. Each can served my hubby and I for ii dinners. Both were very flavorful but I found the ratio of gravy to meat and vegetables need to be improved. I added peas, corn and string beans to to make it more of a 1 pot repast and to make use of the gravy in each tin.

A few weeks ago I received a can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew and a can of Chicken and Dumplings. The Craven and Dumplings was the chickeniest tasting stuff that was ever in a tin. The beefiness stew? Well let me tell y'all. Today I made a homemade stew in the crock pot. My 36 year old son loved it. " That is some Good beef stew. It'south no Dinty Moore, but information technology certain was good for homemade." LOL I think I have to up my game.

Hearty and delicious as a quick treat

I have tried this beef stew. It had a unique flavor that I sometimes crave. Information technology'southward comfort food in a can. I wish they would add some more veggies and cutting out some of the salt. Overall it is a expert treat.

Were you lot expecting gourmet?

This wasn't like mom made but for a quick meal it wasn't bad. There were pieces of beef with no gristle or fat. I did miss that there wasn't any celery in the mix and at that place were also many potatoes. I felt it needed some salt and pepper and noted that several reviewers complained of too much common salt but I'm one of the 94% of people to whom salt isn't abomination then I added some. Overall, a decent quick meal. I wouldn't eat information technology without some bread for dipping, however.

A Winner from Hormel

I received a sample of Hormel Dinty Moore Beefiness stew, and it was as expert equally it has always been. Creamy flavorful sauce, lots of potatoes and carrots, and tender beef. It was just the right size for a repast with some bread to sop up the liquid. It did seem saltier than it used to be, just that might have been the particular batch. I have been eating this stew for years, and would recommend information technology to anyone as a good, filling repast for a family unit or one person.
